◎简　　介

　　近未来，科学家研发出可以窥探人类脑中世界的MRI扫描器。该扫描器能将脑子所“见到”的电波刺激并予以再现，使脑子发挥到120%的功能。有了它的帮助，那些死者临终前所看到的影像就可事无巨细展现出来，从而协助调查陷入僵局的警方尽快逼近事件的真相。

　　只不过硬币的另一面是，人的大脑极其复杂，它不仅可以映射出真实影像，同时也储存着幻想画面。调查者如果放送戒备，忽略掉真实信息还好，往往会被死者的大脑所欺骗、蛊惑，从而陷入黑暗的泥潭之中。

　　名为科学警察研究所法医第九研究室的机关，正是运用MRI扫描技术的经营机关。作为“第九”室长的警视正薪刚（生田斗真 饰），曾经见过堪称地狱般的罪犯之脑。他不苟言笑，冷静异常，似乎在灵魂的最深处拼尽全力与黑暗的力量进行抗衡。这一天，新人研究员青木一行（冈田将生饰）被分配到“第九”，他很快就接触到一桩诡异的案件。某个男子因涉嫌杀害全家而被判处死刑，薪刚和青木一行对死刑犯露口浩一（椎名桔平饰）的大脑研究时意外发现，灭门案中失踪的女儿露口绢子（织田梨沙 饰）居然挥舞着利刃刺向家人。

　　以此为契机，连锁事件接连发生，甚至指向了“第九”的禁忌之地——贝沼事件，当初薪刚的好友铃木（松坂桃李饰）以生命为贝沼事件画上血淋淋的句号，而今黑暗的秘密逐渐浮出水面…
